Businesses with thousands of products, or products that need configuring, usually can't quote online. Customers have to wait for someone to work out a price by hand.

Quotee is our own product, built to give those customers an accurate quote in real time.

What we built

A quoting widget a business can add to any website. The AI reads their products and how they like to quote, and suggests the questions to ask. The business then fine-tunes the flow, logic and look.

  • Instant quotes with reasons: Customers get a recommendation or a direct quote, with a full cost breakdown and the reasoning behind it.
  • Your choice of output: Each business decides whether the AI recommends options or gives a single quote.
  • On brand: The questions, flow, styling and branding are all set by the business.
  • A quote to take away: Every quote comes with a PDF carrying the business's details.
  • Every lead in one place: A dashboard shows every quote and where each lead is up to, such as downloading a quote or asking for a callback. Staff can edit quotes or create custom ones.
  • Connects to your tools: New leads and quotes are sent automatically to other systems, such as Go High Level.
  • What changed

Quotee launched as a product. After strong interest from a large New Zealand ecommerce provider, it became a custom build for them.

    Built with

Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Stripe, Tailwind CSS and OpenAI, with webhooks to send events to other systems.
